The Outsiders Chapters 3 and 4

    In the chapters 3 and 4 Johny, Ponyboy, Merica, and Cherry were walking home from the movies, while they were walking home they saw a blue mustang. It was the Socs and it was Cherries and Marcia boyfriends. Johny and Ponyboy thought that they were going to get attack. But they never. So they were on their way home. But Johny just stayed out in the vacant lot and Ponyboy went home. When he got home his older brother Darry got mad at him a slapped his face because he was late. Ponyboy got mad and he ran away. He met up with Johny so they ran away together. When they got about 10 blocks away they stopped and started walking home. But they stopped at the park. When they were there they saw the blue mustang again. Five people got out of the mustang. Then five people ran up to Ponyboy and Johny. Then one ran right up to Ponyboy and put his face under the water. Then Johny started stabbing him and then he killed him. They did not know what to do so they went to go and see Dally. Dally just laughed and gave them 50 bucks, some clothing, and a gun with bullets. He gave them that because then they would run away with at lest some stuff. They sneaked onto a train. They wanted to get to Jay mountain. So when they were pretty close they jumped off the train. They had landed in a field. Then Ponyboy went to ask someone how to get to Jay Mountain. He got directions. Then they started going there. It ended off when they were a near a church.

     My favourite events of those two chapters are when Johny stabbed that guy. It is one of my favourite events because the greasers finally got back at the Socs for all the times that they have attacked them. Also when they got all that stuff from Dally because he did not think it was all that big of a deal but it is a pretty big deal because death is a serious thing. Finally my other favourite event was when they got on the train because when I was a lot younger I had always wanted to sneak up onto a train.
