The Outsiders Chapters 1 and 2

    In class we are reading a book called The Outsiders it is a very good book. It is writen by S. E. Hinton. In the first two chapters of the book the Outsiders they tell a lot about the characters, setting, and so much more. But I am going to tell a summary of the first two chapters. In the first two chapters there is Darry, Soda, Johny, Two Bit, Ponyboy, Dallas, and more. But it talks about Ponyboy mostly like at the start it talks about him walking out of a theater and walking home alone then getting beat up. He got beat up by the Socs they are pretty much there enemies. They fight with the greasers a lot that is like Ponyboy and them.  Also Johny got jumped pretty badly because like one day he was just in the football field and he was looking for a football. The all of a sudden the Socs pulled up in the car and beat him up. One of them had rings on and he was punching him in the face and all over. From the rings he got cut where ever he got punched. So he was pretty badly hurt. Then Dally, Ponyboy, Johny, and Two Bit went to the dive in and they watch a movie but when they get there they see two girls in front of them. Dally was being mean to them so the girls made him leave. When he left Ponyboy and Johny went down to go and sit with the girls. They talked and later on they were talking about how the Socs had it all good but one of the girls which was Cherry. She said it was rough all does not matter who you are.

    Socs Vs the Greasers. The Socs are the people that would do something dumb like getting in a lot of trouble and getting there names put on the front of the newspaper. There would go out and drink and do beer blast and that kind of stuff. They were a lot richer then the greasers. They had mustangs and corvairs They would jut go around and jump greasers just for fun.

    But there are the greasers they steel, they mug people, and they even have a lot of fights too. When they steel though they really do not get caught too much. They are pretty much poor. They do not have all the nice fancy cars like the Socs. But I think even thought they do not have all the money I think they still have way more fun then the Socs.
